Capture Power refers to the likelihood of completing a successful catch. The higher the Capture Power, the higher the likelihood of completing a successful catch.

Pal Spheres

Different tiers of Pal Sphere will have different base Capture Power.

Bonuses

There are a number of bonuses that may be applied to your Capture Power that can be obtained during the course of the battle. The following bonuses may be applied when catching any Pal:

• Back Bonus - Pal Spheres thrown while the Pal's back is facing you will gain a bonus to Capture Power.
• Poisoned - When a  Dark attack that poisons the Pal was used prior to attempting to catch the Pal (damage effect is ongoing), you will gain a bonus to Capture Power.
  • This can be applied by  Dark Pal attacks, or with the  Poison Bow or  Poison Arrow Crossbow.
• Shocked - When an  Electric attack that shocks the Pal is used prior to attempting to catch it (Pal must still be stunned), you will gain a bonus to Capture Power.
  • This can be applied by  Electric Pal attacks, or with the  Stun Baton.
• Burning - When a  Fire attack that burns the Pal is used prior to attempting to catch it (damage effect must be ongoing), you will gain a bonus to Capture Power.
  • This can be applied by  Fire Pal attacks, or with the  Hand-held Torch,  Fire Bow, or  Fire Arrow Crossbow.
• Frozen - When a  Ice attack that freezes the Pal was used before attempting to catch it (Pal must still be frozen), you will gain a bonus to Capture Power.
  • This can be applied by  Ice Pal Active Skills.

Each of these bonuses stack with each other and can be applied simultaneously.

Lifmunk Effigies

Players are able to spend  Lifmunk Effigies at Power Statues in order to improve their Capture Power.

In total, it costs 353  Lifmunk Effigies to fully-upgrade your Capture Power after the Feybreak Update, and there are more than 500  Lifmunk Effigies across the Palpagos Islands.
