Flopie's Necklace is a piece of Pal Gear used to unlock Flopie’s partner skill and is stored in the Key Items section of the player’s inventory. Once crafted, Pal Gear does not need to be repeatedly equipped. Unlocking and crafting the item permanently enables the Pal’s partner skill, allowing it to be activated whenever the Pal is deployed.
Pal Gear refers to a special category of items designed specifically for individual Pals. When unlocked, Pal Gear enables or enhances a Pal’s unique partner skill, often changing how that Pal behaves in combat, exploration, or support roles. Some Pal Gear allows Pals to act autonomously alongside the player, such as automatically collecting nearby items. Pal Gear is unlocked through the Technology tree, typically after capturing the associated Pal, and must be crafted at a Pal Gear Workbench using materials such as leather, fiber, ingots, and Paldium Fragments.
Pal Gear cannot be transferred between different Pal species, as each item is uniquely tied to a specific Pal and its corresponding partner skill.
