Monsters

Monsters are special, capturable creatures introduced through the Tides of Terraria collaboration in Palworld. While they can be captured and interacted with in ways similar to Pals, they are **not listed in the in-game Palpedia** and are not considered native Pal species.

Tides of Terraria was a crossover collaboration between Palworld and Terraria that introduced Terraria-themed content into Palworld. The update added a unique dungeon, themed enemies, and a set of capturable creatures inspired by Terraria’s iconic monsters.

These creatures originate from the world of Terraria and are encountered exclusively within the Sealed Realm of Terraria. Their exclusion from the Palpedia and their limited availability distinguish them from standard Pals found across the Palpagos Islands.

On the wiki, the term “Monsters” is used to distinguish these collaboration creatures from true Pals. This classification reflects both their crossover origin and their exclusion from Palworld’s core Pal classification system, the Paldeck. While they can be captured, assigned to work, and used in ways similar to Pals, they are restricted to the Sealed Realm of Terraria and do not appear in the Palpedia, marking them as a distinct category.
