How to fight the Moon Lord
The Moon Lord may be summoned using a Summoning Altar just like all other Raid Bosses. The required item to summon it is the Celestial Sigil which is crafted from Hallowed Bars after obtaining a Celestial Sigil Schematic from the Sealed Realm of Terraria.
Strategy and Tactics
Using a combination of strong Pals and Weapons is heavily recommended. The Terraprisma can make this fight significantly easier since it can attack while you are also using another weapon. The Moon Lord is made up of several parts you can individually damage, once their HP drops to 0 that part can no longer be damaged and you will have to focus on another area to damage. The Terraprisma and the Nightglow don't offer as much damage as other Weapons but are more convenient because they require less focus to operate due to their auto targeting. For a selection of Pals you should focus on strong ranged attacks such as the Blast type attacks. Since it has no Elements you don't have to worry about what type of Pal to bring.
Drops
How exactly the drop chances are calculated is still under investigation. The Player is however guaranteed one of the Fruit drops, which one is always random however.History
