Polapup's Harness
Polapup's Harness is a piece of Pal Gear used to unlock Polapup’s partner skill and is stored in the Key Items section of the player’s inventory. Despite being named a harness, it functions the same as typical saddles would. Once crafted, Pal Gear does not need to be repeatedly equipped. Unlocking and crafting the item permanently enables the Pal’s partner skill, allowing it to be activated whenever the Pal is deployed.
Pal Gear refers to a special category of items designed specifically for individual Pals. When unlocked, Pal Gear enables or enhances a Pal’s unique partner skill, often changing how that Pal behaves in combat, exploration, or support roles. Pal Gear is unlocked through the Technology tree, typically after capturing the associated Pal, and must be crafted at a Pal Gear Workbench or another specified crafting station using materials such as leather, fiber, refined ingots, electric organs, and Paldium Fragments.
Pal Gear cannot be transferred between different Pal species, as each item is uniquely tied to a specific Pal and its corresponding partner skill.
