Like the Musket, the Single-shot Rifle is a powerful weapon for hunting and taking down tougher enemies, with good range and high damage per shot, though it can only fire once before needing to be reloaded. However, it has much higher durability than the Musket, allowing it to be used for much longer without needing to be repaired. and it makes up as well with high damage and decent accuracy, making it effective against tougher enemies.Additionally, the Single-shot Rifle's reload time is far shorter than the Musket's, making it a good choice for both close-range and long-range combat.

Trivia
The Single-Shot Rifle appears to be based on the Spencer Carbine, a weapon used by Union Cavalry forces during the American Civil War. However, the Spencer Carbine was capable of firing up to 7 rounds in one full magazine. Rather, the gun seems to function similar to the Sharps Carbine, another Civil War-era cavalry carbine, which just so happens to bear a striking resemblance to the Spencer.
