The Statue of Power is a structure that allows the player to improve their Capture Power and enhance a Pal's base stats.

The structure becomes unlockable in the Technology tree at level 6.

Appearance

The Statue of Power resembles the Pal, Anubis. It holds a blue flame in its right hand, that appears to represent a Small Pal Soul icon.png  Small Pal Soul.

Acquisition

It is a tier 6 technology item and requires 2 points to unlock.

Otherwise, there are several of the statues scattered around the map in certain locations. These spawn locations do not change, but the easiest way to gain access to one is for players to simply build one of their own.

Naturally-spawning Statues of Power perform identically to built ones, but cannot be deconstructed by players.

Usage

The Statue of Power is used to permanently enhance Player and Pal stats. At the Statue of Power, Lifmunk Effigy icon.png  Lifmunk Effigy statues are spent to upgrade the player's Capture Power. Each upgrade increases the amount of effigies needed for an offering. Similarly, Pal Souls are spent to enhance a Pal's base stats. For more information, see Pal Enhancement.

For players, capture power is enhanced using Lifmunk Effigy icon.png  Lifmunk Effigy. The first enhancement costs 3 effigies and each subsequent enhancement costs 4 more than the prior (3, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27, 31, 35, 39, 43). The capture power can only be enhanced 10 (as of v0.3.1, 12) times, which means to fully enhance their capture rate, the player must gather a total of 253 Lifmunk Effigies.

For Pals, one can permanently increase an individual Pal's Max Health, Attack, Defense, or Work Speed. Unlike player enhancements, these cost Small Pal Soul icon.png  Small Pal Soul, Medium Pal Soul icon.png  Medium Pal Soul, and Large Pal Soul icon.png  Large Pal Soul. It's important to note that Pal Enhancement is a one-time process, so choosing wisely which stat to boost for each Pal is important.

Interaction

  • Find a Power Statue. These can either be built or can be found in various locations throughout the game world.
  • Interact with the statue and select the "Enhance Pal" option.
  • Select the Pal to be enhanced.
  • Choose which stat to be boosted (Max Health, Attack, Defense, or Work Speed).

Tips

  • Consider the Pal's natural strengths and weaknesses when choosing which stat to boost. For example, if you have a Pal that is naturally strong but has low defense, you might want to boost its defense. However, if you have excess souls, you don't have to stick with just one stat; you can raise all of them.
  • Pal Souls can be obtained by defeating and capturing Pals. You can also find them in treasure chests.
  • You can reset a Pal's enhancement by spending Gold Coins at the Statue of Power. This will allow you to choose a different stat to boost or start over from scratch. Pal souls used are returned when you do this.
  • To upgrade each stat to it's maximum costs 32 Small Pal Soul icon.png  Small Pal Soul (or equivalent in larger souls [see: Crusher]) for a total of 128 to enhance every stat to the max.

Trivia

  • The statue's resemblance to Anubis and its requirement of souls to enhance pals is probably a reference to the Egyptian deity Anubis being known as a god of funerals and death.
  • In the game's code, the Statue of Power is referred to as "SM_GoddessStatue"
