Axel and Orserk
Axel Traverse is the leader of the 
Brothers of the Eternal Pyre faction. He has a 
Orserk as a partner. Axel is located in the 
Tower of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre at the top of Mount Obsidian.
Appearance
Axel is a young man with an athletic build. He has light blue eyes, tanned skin, and a zigzag tattoo on his biceps. He has sideburns and sports a black beanie with yellow and purple zigzag patterns on it. Dual colored hair can be seen from underneath his beanie. His hair is purple with yellow tips that resemble lightning bolts.
Axel wears a purple sleeveless crop top with a high collar that has yellow and black lines at the hem and with the sides of the neck having a yellow zigzag design. His yellow khaki pants have white lightning bolts on it and have purple suspenders with yellow zigzag designs on them. He also wears purple basketball trainers with yellow lines on them. Axel accessorizes with three rings on both hands, bracelets on each wrist, a lightning-shaped necklace and earrings.
Biography
The villagers of Fisherman's Point village are fire worshippers and are part of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre. They operate as a religious group who believe in purification by fire as they view the fire as a holy entity that, while it’s cruel, they also consider it beautiful and want to use it to cleanse the world from threats such as human manipulation, particularly genetic experiments conducted by groups like the Pal Genetic Research Unit (PGRU).
Axel Travers has been appointed as the new high priest of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre. The villagers look to him for guidance, as he has journeyed to the tower on Mount Obsidian for a prayer but because of his long absence, he has become somewhat of a mystery to them. Viewing him as being elusive, they started to believe he is conducting a holy mission.
Under his leadership, the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre have become more extreme in their ways than they used to be with their old leader. They have also started to have more direct conflicts with the PGRU than they used to, increasing in intensity of bloodshed.
Axel has a very strong fighting spirit. He is a fierce and confident fighter, always looking forward for a worthy challenge to prove his skills and strength. Because of his nature, he has a strong thirst for battles and wants to fight worthy opponents. This thirst makes him desire these battles to be legendary-like, as he doesn’t want weak opponents who give up easily, with a knockout being the only result that will satisfy him.
Axel loves rapping and includes Orserk in his raps, praising his powers over lightning. He seems to have a strong bond with Orserk and is confidence in him as he boasts about his lightning abilities and how powerful they are, trusting he can put an end to any battle quickly with his powerful lightning attacks and believing they are undefeatable together.

- Axel is one of the original five tower bosses who were first released alongside Marcus, Zoe, Lily, and Victor.
- In early access, he was released with the fewest journals compared to the other tower bosses, having only one.
- Despite Axel being the leader and the high priest of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre, which is a religious faction whose religion is focused around fire worship, he is not using a fire type Pal instead, he is using the electric type Pal Orserk.
