Create/Join A Guild in Palworld

Guild UI showing guild name, change guild name, leave and members online & count

When players start a new game, they are automatically part of an Unnamed Guild. During multiplayer, a Guild is formed when more players join the Unnamed Guild. Commands to ask to join another player's Guild or to invite someone to your Guild will appear when you approach another player. You can join a guild by sending a request or by receiving an invite from another player.

Joining a guild (PC)

Commands to ask to join another player's Guild or to invite someone to your Guild will appear when you approach another player. You can join a guild by sending a request or by receiving an invite from another player.

If a player who wants to join a Guild has already built a Palbox and exceeds the max number of Palboxes, a warning will be issued saying that they cannot join a Guild. Make sure to dismantle your own Palbox before asking to join a Guild.

Leave A Guild in Palworld

Leave Guild is available at the top right (corner) however, IF YOU ARE THE GUILDMASTER, you cannot leave.

Leave Guild From The Menu

Select the Guild tab from the menu and press the red button in the upper right corner to bring up the warning screen. If you select "Yes" when the warning appears, you can leave the Guild you are currently a member of. If you are the Guild Master, you cannot leave the Guild you are in charge of.

Assigning Guild Master to someone else

Assign Guild Master to someone else by clicking and selecting "MAKE GUILD MASTER" , then you are free to leave.

First, select another member to be the Guild Master. If you are the lone member of a Guild, you will be unable to leave because by default you are its Guild Master.

The Guild Master has the power to remove members from the Guild.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • Pal trading is possible through base-working pals being added by one member, and removed by another.
  • Storage containers are shared between Guildmates, so you can work toward mutual goals.
  • Guildmate locations are indicated on the World Map.
  • If your lifepoints drop to 0, you are not killed, instead the player falls into a crawl, and a timer counts down. Guildmates can revive you before this timer hits 0.

Cons:

  • Palbox limits apply to the whole of the Guild; a maximum of 3 palboxes for use by all members are available, regardless the number of people in the Guild.
  • Pals working the base can be taken by any member.
  • Resources in storage containers (except password secured storage) are available to any member of the guild, making it possible (and even likely) that anything added to the Guild's storage will be gone before you get the opportunity to use them.
  • Should you decide to leave a Guild at any time, you will lose Base advancement, and return to the Base Level you had prior to joining; potentially restarting your base to level 1.
