The Innkeeper is an unaffiliated human NPC that works at the small undercover shelter in the Small Settlement. In future Palworld updates, you may be able to buy a bed for the night. The Innkeeper will always appear to be sleeping, though you can interrupt and talk to them.
Dialogue
The Innkeeper will greet you by saying:
Welcome, haven't seen your face before.
Did you come from far away?
Must've been a long journey.
Take your time and rest up.
This dialogue will repeat whenever you speak to them.
They also have an unused line in the game files:
Even though some time has passed since the catastrophe, still far from a perfect recovery…
