Victor and Shadowbeak
Victor Ashford is the leader of the 
Pal Genetic Research Unit faction. He has a 
Shadowbeak as a partner. Victor is located in the tower of the Pal Genetic Research Unit in the Astral Mountains
Appearance
Victor is a pale, thin man with a black and white wavy, shoulder length hair. His eyes are covered with a black blindfold.
He wears a black high-collared long coat with golden topstitching and a triangle shaped button. A badge is displayed on the left side of his coat. The coat has a waist belt hanging from both sides that ends with belt ornaments. He also wears black gloves that cover his hands and black boots.
Biography
Victor Ashford, a cold and calculating man of science, is very ambitious and aims to create powerful Pals by experimenting on them and employing genetic engineering. Victor works on different experiments to achieve his goals. One of these experiments is focused on creating an artificial powerful Pal through genetic engineering, while the other involves enhancing Pals' power and abilities through the use of distillation.
For the interspecies Pal experiment, he attempted to combine different Pals species, but most resulted in failures. Although some of the combinations were successful, the bodies that were produced deteriorated in few seconds, which he ordered disposal of. These failures in getting the results he wanted made him reconsider and adjust the materials he used in his experiments, such as ordering the extracting of chemicals from Eikthyrdeer antlers to assist in creating a compound to help stabilizing the experiments. He also ordered the acquiring of an ice Pal to have a better storage temperatures for the compound. He expanded the range of the Pals species that will be included in the experiment and ordered their re-examination so that those with the more desirable DNA can be selected, which will increase the experiment's chances of success. However, he lacked the necessary equipment for this process as the equipment he is using currently is sourced from outside and had a limit to how far they can be upgraded, for that he ordered the building of new equipment made by his organization so he can upgrade them with ease when necessary.
For the enhancement of Pals through the use of distillation, Victor liquefied a Pal and injected the liquid into a Pal of the same species. The result was a success, the Pal's power and abilities were enhanced. This experiment was meant to give Victor a different way to generate powerful Pals, and its success surprised him. It made him theorize that Pals of the same species might have important nutrients or an energy source within them that is necessary for their own species' existence. He deemed that more investigation is needed on the matter.
After acquiring the necessary equipment, Victor made his second attempt at interspecies Pal experiments and had a breakthrough, resulting in a new artificially created species of Pal with four legs and wings, which was immediately moved to the cultivation equipment and put under observation. He attempted to replicate the process but couldn't and attributed the success to unknown external factor. Despite the failure to create another, Victor was extremely pleased with this experiment's result. He named the new species Shadowbeak, which showed promising progress, but not being able to replicate the process made him concerned, as he wished to enhance Shadowbeak's power and abilities through the use of distillation. He planned to continue experimenting with slight adjustments based on the result of this experiment. He noted the disappearance of his lab assistant, Alex, during these experiments as concerning.

- Victor is one of the original five tower bosses that were first released alongside Marcus, Axel, Zoe and Lily.
- Unlike the other tower bosses' Pals, Shadowbeak is an artificial Pal that was created by Victor Ashford through the use of genetic manipulation.
