Logging Site is a production structure, a facility for producing 
Wood. Pals with the 
Lumbering suitability can work here.
It's built at one's base to let captured Pals with Lumbering skills generate Wood. It can hold up to 1 stack of wood, which is 9,999 wood.
Wood in this structure can't be used in recipes of other work stations, but must first be moved to the player's inventory or to a chest by Pals with a transportation skill.
Acquisition
It's a technology tier 7 item and costs 2 Technology Points to unlock.

Usage
Lumbering capable pals will mine wood from here. Like other Work Suitabilities, a higher level lumbering pal will increase output.
