Transporting SpeedBlack Marketeers are illicit merchants who buy and sell rare Pals in exchange for Gold Coins. Unlike standard Pal Merchants, they ignore regulations on Pal trading and are known for offering high-value and otherwise restricted Pals.
Inventory
Black Marketeers sell a rotating selection of rare and high-value Pals, including some pals normally found only in Wildlife Sanctuaries. Their inventory is significantly rarer than that of standard Pal Merchants.
Location
Black Marketeers typically appear in remote or hidden areas of the world, making them more difficult to find than other merchants. While they may spawn in random locations, there are several places where a Black Marketeer can always be found:
- Beneath the Desolate Church Fast Travel point, hidden under a western cliff.
- West of the PIDF Tower entrance, inside a canyon in the Desiccated Desert.
- Along the northern exterior wall of Duneshelter.

Appearance
The Black Marketeer has a distinct appearance that sets him apart from other merchants. He is a large, heavyset man wearing a black cloak over his uniform, with a hood that obscures most of his face. His sickly grey skin, glowing yellow eyes, and wide grin are often visible beneath the hood, along with an old-fashioned smoking pipe clenched between his teeth.
Dialogue
When approached, Black Marketeers may greet the player with dialogue related to their illegal trade in Pals, including an offer to buy or sell contraband.
Trivia
- Black Marketeers can be captured with Pal Spheres and brought back to a player’s base, where they remain available for trading.
- If attacked or capture is attempted, the Black Marketeer will retaliate by wielding a
Gatling Gun.
