Dark
Dark is one of 9 elements found in Palworld. Dark is strong against 
Neutral and is weak to 
Dragon.
Pals of this elemental type are usually nocturnal; meaning they naturally spawn during the 
Night, do not need to sleep and will continue to work in 
Bases day and night (exceptions to this rule exist, such as 
Lovander who is a Neutral type but nocturnal). As a result, this makes this type more susceptible to Sanity drain.
Subspecies that gain the Dark Element have the Noct suffix, which means night.
Dark Pals are immune to the Blind status effect.
Generic properties
Pals working at the player's base with the Dark element will keep working during the night, whilst others go to sleep, and so they don't need beds.
As for the current version of the game, they do not go to sleep during the day time, leaving them prone to being overworked.
Unlike other elements, which resist the element they're strong against, Dark does not resist Neutral.

Trivia
Bellanoir Libero is the only Dark-subspecies Pal that have a different suffix to the normal Dark-type suffix Pals. Most likely due to it being a Dark-element variant of a Dark-element Pal.
