Selyne is a 
Dark and 
Neutral elemental Pal. It was first shown in the Sakurajima Update trailer.
Selyne is a new Pal being added to the game with the Sakurajima Update. This pal is the partner of the new Faction Leader Boss, Saya.
Appearance
Selyne’s outfit is a mix of black and gray, accented with gold. On its forehead there’s a golden crescent. Behind it, a moon-like object floats.
Behavior and habitat
If the meteorite event happens at Sakurajima, it will spawn, replacing the Xenovaders that normally spawn.
Utility
Selyne is one of the strongest Neutral Pals for combat, as it has several extremely strong exclusive Neutral-type Active Skills, notably Moonlight Beam, along with high stats.
It is a fairly useful base Pal, boasting a 
Handiwork level of 4 which is tied with Anubis and Splatterina for the highest Handiwork suitability, however Splatterina (and to a lesser extent Anubis due to not being nocturnal) generally outclasses Selyne in this use case, as it can be obtained much earlier on compared to Selyne, and it is also more difficult to breed good passives on a Selyne. (This has somewhat changed as Lunaris and Paladius can now breed into Selyne, allowing work passives to be passed onto one through Lunaris instead of having to catch Selynes with said passives, but it is still much more limited compared to Splatterina.)
