It possesses a demeanor as pure as its appearance suggests. Perhaps because of this, it is sometimes unable to discern good from evil, often allowing wrongdoers to take advantage of it.
Elphidran is a Dragon pal that shares its body plan with Dinossom and the larger Relaxaurus. Its defining features are the two butterfly wings on its back and the collar around its neck with a red gem embedded in it.
Its English name may be derived from elf and dragon. The term "elf" was gradually supplanted by the term "fairy", and many things that were once associated with elves were associated with fairies. This may have influenced Elphidran's design, as fairies are often depicted with butterfly-like wings and antennae.
