Faleris is a large avian Pal serving as a reference to a falcon, easily comparable in size to the likes of Elphidran, with primarily red and black feathers. The majority of its body is colored ebony black, while the middle parts are scarlet red. The edge of its wings and claws of its feet are colored old gold. The feathers atop its head resemble the plumes of Roman helmets. Its tail is split into three separate parts and its face resembles a mask.
Behavior and habitat
Wild Faleris can only be encountered flying around inside the No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary. This Pal can be aggressive towards the player.
Faleris is called "Horus" in Japanese and within the game files; Horus being the falcon-headed Egyptian god of vengeance who avenged the death of his father Osiris by killing his uncle Set.
This is referenced in-game in the English version by the fact that Marcus Dryden calls his Faleris "Horus" in their boss intro screen.
