Appearance
Hangyu's body is primarily tan with brown stripes and ribbon-like hair on top of its head.
Behavior and habitat
It is non-hostile unless provoked by an attack.
Utility
Hangyu is able to carry other small Pals.
It can be used a glider after equipping Hangyu's Gloves.
It offers great mobility and range for an early game technology easily beating all (non pal-) gliders that can be unlocked.
Deploying Hangyu as a glider will lift the player up for a short while. This can be linked together by un-deploying and re-deploying Hangyu quickly to continually gain height.
A Grappling Gun can be used to launch the player at high speed and cover distances very fast. Aim your grappling gun at the ground as far away as possible to maximize your speed. Opening your glider right at the end of the grappling rope (or before touching the ground) will maintain your horizontal speed.
Passive Skills that increase movement speed (Swift, Runner, Legend and Nimble) DO NOT increase Hangyu's speed as a glider. Passive Skills that increase stamina (Eternal Engine, Fit as a Fiddle and Infinite Stamina) DO NOT increase Hangyu's range as a glider (gliders use the players stamina).
Hangyu's speed and range when used as a glider can be increased through Condensing.
