History
Trivia
- The name “Hoocrates” is a nod to the ancient Greek philosopher Socrates, blending his name with “hoot.” However, the Paldeck entry quote “I think, therefore I am” originates from René Descartes, a French mathematician and philosopher, in his 1637 work, Discourse on Method.
- Its Japanese name might be from ほうほう “houhou” (the sound of an owl’s hoot) and “warlock.”
