Transporting SpeedLegend says the Jormuntide Ignis was once a warrior who, after being wrongly convicted and cast into a volcano, returned as this Pal to destroy those who wronged him.
Jormuntide Ignis (Japanese: アグニドラ Agnidra) is the Fire-element subspecies of 
Jormuntide. Jormuntide Ignis is largely identical to the regular Jormuntide, except for the fact that it has black scales and red fins and markings.
Characteristics
Behavior and Habitat
Jormuntide Ignis is aggressive and will attack the player on sight.
Jormuntide Ignis can be found on the No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary and in the Emberstone Plateau on Feybreak. It can also be obtained by breeding a regular Jormuntide with a 
Blazehowl.
The 
Predator Jormuntide Ignis world boss can be found in a lake of lava on Mount Obsidian at -457, -447.
Utility
Like its 
Water-element cousin, Jormuntide Ignis is a powerful combat Pal, though its large size means it does have trouble when it comes to avoiding enemy attacks. Additionally, its Fire element makes it only take normal damage from 
Ice-element attacks, which a normal Jormuntide is weak to.
Jormuntide Ignis' only Work Suitability is 
Kindling, being the only Pal besides 
Blazamut Ryu to naturally have that skill at Lvl 4. This makes it one of the best Pals for cooking food and smelting ingots, though its large size means that it does have trouble getting around without getting stuck.
