Trivia
- This Pal was named by the community during a Name This Pal event.
- This Pal seems inspired by sea serpent with elements of a Chinese dragon.
- Two Alpha Jormuntide bosses exist in the overworld. Defeating one automatically defeats the other.
- This is also the only case of there being two Alphas of a Pal in the overworld at any given time.
- The name “Jormuntide” is from the Norse mythological creature Jormungandr, also known as “The World Serpent”. The combination of this name and “tide”, referencing its type, forms its name.
- Its Japanese name might originate from “Leviathan”, a large biblical sea serpent, and “dragon.”
