Single-shot Rifle is a ramged weapon the player can use.

Overview

It is a mid-tier firearm that can be crafted after reaching level 36. It's a powerful weapon for hunting and taking down tougher enemies, but it has some drawbacks to consider.

As its name implies, it can can only shoot once (1 ammo capacity) before it has to be reloaded. However, it makes up for this with high damage and decent accuracy, making it effective against tougher enemies.

Durability is also much higher than average, being capable of firing 1,000 times before breaking. For reference, the Musket has 200 durability, as does the Double-Barreled Shotgun.

A schematic for a legendary-tier version can drop from the Alpha Verdash in the Sealed Realm Of The Swift. This version has an attack power of 2310 and can be fired 3,500 times before breaking.

Tips

  • The rifle's slow fire rate means you'll need a backup weapon for close-quarters combat.
  • Maximize damage by aiming for critical hits on your targets.
  • The rifle's reload time can leave you vulnerable, so use cover to your advantage.
  • Upgrade crafting skills will allow you to craft higher-quality ammo for increased damage.

Trivia

  • It appears to be visually based on the Spencer Carbine, used by Union Cavalry forces during the American Civil War. Despite this, the Spencer Carbine was a multi shot weapon, capable of firing up to 7 rounds in one full magazine. Rather, the gun seems to function similar to the Sharps Carbine, another Civil War-era cavalry carbine, that so happens to bear a striking resemblance to the Spencer.
  • Despite the Single-Shot Rifle inventory model being that of the weapon itself, the Technology Upgrade for Player Level 36 represents the Single-Shot rifle as the same weapon as the Assault Rifle.
